I never actually thought of posting recipes on my blog because I don’t think of myself as a talented chef in the kitchen But so many of you asked me for my recipe for these clean eating banana protein pancakes.
These may not look the best, but they were so yummy in my tummy yesterday! One of my friends I met on Instagram, Samantha, makes so many amazingly delicious recipes every day that I’ve joked with her saying that I’m going to hire her to be my personal chef. I used to despise cooking & when I was working full-time I really didn’t do much of it. I used to always think that cooking took forever. But, now that I only work 20 hours a week from home (or wherever), I’ve been experimenting with cooking more. I’ve realized that eating clean doesn’t have to be boring. One of my new hobbies will now be cooking And making these clean eating banana protein pancakes makes me want to try many more versions! I was even able to use my new yummy vanilla Shakeology in the recipe!
So I blended the ingredients below & then poured them from my blender in to an oiled pan. Y’all know how to make pancakes
- 1 banana
- 1/4 cup oats
- 2 tbsp unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white
- 1 scoop vanilla Shakeology
Then I randomly made up a yummy sauce to top them with by mixing:
- 1/4 cup 0% fat plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 tbsp natural crunchy peanut butter
- 1/2 tbsp honey
So, that’s it! There’s my secret recipe! Super duper easy, I don’t like complicated I hope you try them out & enjoy!
