So I wanted to update you all on my Day 4 progress with the 21 Day Fix Extreme, followed by some inspiration. If you follow me on my social media you’ve already seen it, but for those of you who just follow my blog I wanted to give you the same inspiration Oh and there’s also a few recipes for a yummy frothy (cream free!) coffee that boosts your metabolism and buffalo chicken. Both healthy and super low calorie!
So this is probably what you all came here for, the frothy coffee recipe that is cream free and boosts your metabolism!
It is an EASY PEESY one! All you do is put a cup of coffee with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil in the blender. Be careful though because mine sprayed me in the face the first few times haha. Just make sure you are holding the lid down tightly. It seriously tastes like a latte! And I just put a little bit of stevia in it to sweeten it. That’s it!
Then there’s the buffalo chicken!
Literally all I did was throw chicken breast in the crockpot. I covered it with water and cooked it on low for about 8 hours. Then when I took it out I just shredded it with two forks. I doused it with hot sauce and spicy mustard to give it a kick. Low calorie and so good! Switches it up so you don’t get bored with just chicken all the time.
And on to the inspiration…
This is what was playing in my head this morning that I felt I had to share…
What you think you can or can’t do is true. Whether you think you can achieve your ideal body or whether you think you can’t, that’s what’ll happen.
Yes I’ve lost 60 lbs and achieved goals in my business and built a six figure income. But SECRET – I really struggle with believing in myself.
I was reading PUSH yesterday by Chalene Johnson and she said that first statement, whatever you believe is what’ll come true. You get what you focus on. I also know that from Tony Robbins and The Secret.
For so long I told myself I couldn’t achieve greatness in my business because I wasn’t good enough. Guess what? I didn’t. Then when I put my mind to it I completely transformed everything in just a few weeks.
I’ve been telling myself lately that I’ll just never achieve my ideal body or get toned like I want. I’ve been blaming it on my genes or just being okay with settling and not being excellent.
I’ve told you all about my struggles with binge eating in 2013 and it was not pretty. Since then I’ve honestly been struggling to feel like myself again. I’ve overcome those issues and been on track because God is good. But, I haven’t been seeing myself how He sees me.
So I decided to start 21 Day Fix Extreme 4 days ago and promised myself I would NOT quit when it got hard. And told myself because I DESERVE the best. I am a child of God and want to live like Him, so I’m going to live with being more disciplined to achieve greatness.
And in just 4 days of this program, I’ve wanted to quit a million times to be honest. It’s challenged me in so many ways mentally and physically. BUT it’s SIMPLE and easy to follow so I am sticking with it. I’m believing I’ll make it to the end and achieve the results I want. And I’m seeing mini abs coming back Yayyy!
So the point of this all is to say:
- Believe in yourself
- You CAN do hard things
- You deserve the best
- We all struggle, you just have to be mentally tough enough to push through
Even though this program has been challenging so far, I am really loving it! I will update you guys more on my progress next week.
