The way you see yourself & your thoughts are literally what creates your life & happiness. I have personally struggled with an unhealthy body image for most of my life. I was overweight for half my life & a few years ago finally lost 60 lbs. Since then I’ve kept it off (gained a few in muscle though), but I continue to view myself as the girl I used to be when I looked in the mirror. Then God & the Pastor at my church started working on me about this topic. There is a way to love yourself & I like to call it your body and your image: seeing yourself healthy.
It’s all about the thoughts that you let stay in your head – you have to control that ACESSS – those negative thoughts CAN be kicked to the curb! There are going to be so many negative thoughts that pass through your mind each day, but you MUST overcome them with positive thinking & the Word of God. Remember how God views you & just how beautiful & fearless He made you. You DESERVE to be happy! Surround yourself with positivity so that those negative thoughts don’t stand a chance. It’s your body and your image: seeing yourself healthy.
